| Well, CIA (Christian Investigation and Accountability) starts tomorrow, I'm so excited! I really hope that club goes well, and that it kicks off to a great start. Our goals are pretty awesome this year, including having them find an Accountability Partner, any topics of discussion (within reason) they want to discuss, prayer, and just to continue growing and adding to that family of believers. Please pray for our club to be God's word, hands, feet, and messengers in our school and community this year-I forsee great things for this club!! Tonite Kate and I spent most of the time going through the notebook and basket..and taking some quizzes that were left over. Yaay!! And talking to Taylor is always awesome. Woohoo for that.
I'm going to go to sleep now, gotta be up early for band! Yaay band!!

| So the Superchic[k] concert and Dirk Been were AMAZING last night. Ohhh my gosh it was so awesome. Dirk Been's prayer at the end of his talk.. oh my gosh, he was right..you could really feel the Spirit in there, in that place, filling everybody. It was humbling. And it was so powerful seeing him on his knees by the end of it, giving it all to God. And Superchic[k]?? Oh man, they were amazing!!! I had a blast, and it made me like their music even more. Afterwards, I got a tshirt (well, Elizabeth paid for it but I'll pay Matt to give his sister) and then went through the autograph line..the lead singer, Trisha, is absolutely amazing. She's really nice, and her sister is the female guitarist.. made me want to learn guitar even more. That was awesome.
Highlights from my week:
Getting hit by Jason's car at the church
Talking to Ronnie and Hezzie about church..
Jason shoving Doug in my trunk w/out me realizing it and shutting it, then 2 minutes later hearing my flute being played from inside my trunk..by Doug.
Discussing tounges at church and seeing a cow tounge..wheee. Plus writing the poem about the tounges of Tom and Jerry (hahaha aka Kate and me)
Talking to Paul and Andy after choir and catching up
Friday nite at Applebees..ooh that was fun.
Kate and I headbanging at the concert..HAHA.
Playing phone tag w/Chelle for 3 days.
Clare running to my car and dropping her book and her "graceful" slide back to get it.
Chaffee..talking. "You know that feeling you get when you're in a big church and they have a big pipe organ and it makes your butt tingle?" "You guys are dry heaving-GIVE ME CHUNKS!!" "Does anybody know what shlegel is?" *band answers with no* "How many of you have seen Drumline?" *everybody raises their hands* "Okay..the dancing out on the field? THAT is shlegel. I want y'all to SHLEGEL!"
